Looking through the old posts here, and listening to Roan fuss in his crib, I’m overwhelmed by the fact I sincerely miss being pregnant.

This doesn’t mean I would trade my little boy in for the experience .. But it’s hard looking at the calendar, looking at my other lady friends who are also having babies this month, and realizing I should still be where they are. I should still be waiting for Roan’s arrival, feeling like a beached whale, but marveling at all his little kicks and stretches.

Part of me knows it’s the postpartum depression.. But I really do miss the intimacy I shared with only my son, and no one else.
